12.19.2000 - 1.15.2001: Zhang Hongtu was invited by CrossPathCulture to participate in an artist workshop in Johannesburg, South Africa. Zhang Hongtu painted one painting daily as a journal to record and describe his impressions and feelings of Johannesburg. He did 23 paintings during this workshop. He also made a razor-wire ping pong table installation.
